Its hard being fabulous...

No one ever told me I was pretty when I was a little girl. All little girls should be told they are pretty, even if they aren't.

Beauty...this word, this IDEA holds such a power in our society. The cute girls always want to be pretty, the pretty girls always want to be beautiful, and the beautiful girls always want perfect. There isnt a little girl out there in all of us that has felt what its like to feel unattractive, unappealing, unwanted...Most of the time we are able to push that little girl down, play off our "fat days" with baggy pants and larger shirts, but that little girl is always there; criting, comparing and critizing everything she sees at all times. Beauty in our society is based on a size zero with the goal of losing that extra inch, beauty is based on how long your legs, how big your chest and bottom is, and that unachievable goal of that flat stomach and theighs that dont touch. If you dont fit into this box, as most women dont, we are lead to believe that we are not only unattractive, but have not right to feel beautiful or confident or god forbid sexy.

So, then, what are two beautiful, confident, SEXY women with curves supposed to do in a world that would have us believe we are to be ashamed? We put our makeup on, get into our favorite corsets, bras and panties, have a photo shoot or two, and give that idea a big "UP YOUR". Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colors; it should be based on the size of your heart and not the size of your pants. CONFIDENCE IS SEXY! AND EVERYONE WOMEN IS SEXY!! Weather is under the lights on a stage covered in glitter or in sweats with your hair in a sloppy bun, you cant hide beauty! It should never be covered up or played down!
