I put a spell on you, and now your mine...

I knew I belonged to the public and to the world. Not because I was talented or even beautiful, but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else.

The funny thing about the spot light if that for all the amazing positive feeling and strength that you get from putting yourself out there for others entertainment, there is also negatives that come along with that; some closer to home than others. In this business of every girl who steps on that stage looking for her own spot light, there is bound to be shakey times that test your faith and your resiliense in the artform that you love. This was one of those times for Ladie P. and Danger...

It was decission time. There was a show coming up, but do to a storm brewing from within the confines of the very troop that had grown to become family, we had to seriously consider if we wanted to take the show off. However, after much thought, the basic reason of why we were there to begin with came back to us; the fans, the crowd, the lights. And for these reasons, like two moths drawn to the flame, we couldnt stay away.

However, this show, we decided to step outside our comfort zone. We decided to do skits, involving singing, improv, and a third member. The Queen joined us as we combined forces to create an act that was talked about long after it was over. As we all know, on All Hallows Eve, the supernatural world is abuzz with unsettled spirits, and sometimes something as simple as a virgin lighting a black flamed candle can bring back three witches back from the grave to complete their mission of sucking the souls out of the lives of those who they encounter. So sit back and get comfertable as we put a spell on you, after all, its all just a bunch of "Hocus Pocus"...

Our next act was based on the fact that you cant always trust what you see, after all things aren't always what they seem! After all, when you put a sexy convict, a seductive visiting lover,  a sexy cowboy policeman, and an escape plan to die for, sometimes all you can say is Please Mr. Jailor, let my baby go...

As the cheers of the crowd faded and we had time to catch our breaths, we had time to reflect back on this last show. Even with all the uncertainy surrounding it, we knew that we had made the right choice; the stage was our home and every person in that audience family and we owed it not only to ourselves but to THEM to put on the best show possible! As we were able to look back, we also looked ahead to what is to come, the beautiful journey we are on, and how fortunate we are to have eachother to share this journey with! So with that, I will leave you with a few post show pictures. Until next time!!
